Some Favorite Inspiring Quotes
I love inspiring quotes. When I read one on Pinterest, or Facebook, or anywhere else, I love the quick little moment of uplift that I get. Sometimes the humor is stronger than the uplift, but that’s fine with me too. Here on this page I’ll put some of my favorites. Here are some of my favorite quotes…
This Mexican proverb, “Conversation is good for the soul,” goes well in my mind with the image which shows the results of our shopping trip to the weekly street market when we lived in Bernal, a small town in Mexico.
“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.” –Gandhi
Here is another one from Gandhi that made me stop and think a moment: “Whatever you do will be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it.”
These lines are famous, and are just part of prayer of St. Francis f Assissi: “Where there is hatred, let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon. Where the is doubt, faith.” I like the white petals of the flower that I put behind these lines.
