My husband Kelly and I lived in Mexico for much of 2005 — 2010, and I blogged about it all at  mexico-with-heart.com. Now we’re back in Colorado, for good so far as I know… at least those little chickens are a good reason to stay close to home. (They continue to thrive.)

Anyway, I wrote a post about my years in Mexico on a website called Hubpages. That link takes you to it. In it, I reflect on what it was like living near Lake Chapala in Mexico’s central highlands. I tell the story of how Kelly falling off a roof changed our plans, and also explain why we came back to the U.S.
